Hi -
I was hoping someone might be able to help me track down a missing family!
Edward MACDONALD (born around 1845), wife Maria (born around 1846) and their children Arthur (b. 1867) and Rosetta (b. 1870) appear in the 1871 census living in Leigh Street, Holy Trinity, Coventry.
It records my 3xggrandmother, Mary Ann TRICKETT, and Maria's sister, Lucy, as also living with them.
By 1881, Lucy is married to Thomas RILEY and living in Moat Street with their children, Albert and Frederick.
Mary Ann is recorded as living back with my 3xggrandfather in Clarence Street.
I cannot find the Macdonalds anywhere!
I have a question mark about whether Maria died in 1882, but she should still appear somewhere on the 1881 census!
There are family connections with Leicester - Maria's brother moved there.
Can anyone shed any light?
Many thanks in advance!
