Updated:  newspaper announcement of marriage Friday 23 April, 1948 at Molo, Kenya to Eleanor Mary Byers.   He is shown as son of the late  Rev J Chamberlain and Mrs Chamberlain of Eastbourne, Sussex.   Daughter born in 1949 in Nakuru.

There is a 1935 newspaper report of Trevor Goth Chamberlain's premises at 1 Burlington Road being robbed.
There is a 1938 newspaper report  of Trevor Chamberlain, vet, taking  up premises almost on the site of his old ones, on the corner of Victoria Place and Burlington Road
There is a 1938 newspaper report of a Trevor Chamberlain marrying and moving immediately to Kenya to take up his post as Government Veterinary Officer - bride is not Eleanor Byers.

No I don't think this is the TGC I am looking for I was sent just a snippet of information with no accurate source only that it was a google search - this is what I was sent

Just to add Nanny Jan has the right TGC and there is definately a South Africa connection.
I have also done a Google search and it says no more that what I have posted it came from
Abbotsham site so I think that perhaps they noted the marriage without saying it took place in S.A. and it was presumed it was in Devon.
