Looking for an death index of my grandads step brother named Harold Ralph Sherriff however I cannot find such record in Australia and he moved out there with his wife ivy in mid 60s when you could travel for £10.00. Im finding death records for him in UK however from what I've been told by my mum is that he lived out there since mid 60s and had 4 children with ivy.. his parents are William Thomas Sherriff and mabel jane page. Considering I have full international access on ancestry nothing is coming up for him in Australia..

When & where was he born?  The only Harold R Sherriff birth is 1918 & he was Harold Robert & died 2002 Surrey

Marriage was 1946 - Ivy V Bridges

Harold R and Ivy V Sherriff are on the 1964 electoral roll in Lambeth at 25 Brading Road Norwood.
They are at the same address in 2002. If they had gone to Australia after 1964 there would not be a passenger list available and the births of any children after that date would not be available to search. I cannot see anything for them on Electoral Rolls in Australia or in newspapers on the Trove website.

There is an entry in the Probate Index for Harold , indicating that there is a will which may shed some light :

Harold Robert Sherriff died 31 May 2002, probate 27 August 2002. Registry Brighton. Grant and Will
number 1031934

So Harold Ralph or Harold Robert??  Where did you get Ralph from?

My grandad and mum told me his name was Ralph. When my grandad in 1999 my uncle went to Australia to visit Ralph. He definitely had 4 children and living in Australia but never thought to look under harold robert sherriff.

When my grandad died in 1999. His name Gordon john reuben butler. B. 17/11/1925

They lived at crantock in charlwood in surrey to which is where my granfather lived.
My mum keeps saying that harold died in Australia to which myself can't find any evidence of that.
I found 2 marriages for harold father but still living with harold and his brother Cecil Stanley b.1913 and their mother mabel.

He was married to my great nan in 1937.
