Conflict Marriage Dates

Hi, can anyone help please. I have two Marriage dates for,
 James Sharp and Eleanor Goodchild.
Family Search 19/10/1801 (1775-1825)
North Benfleet Essex England.
Couple both single both of this parish
Anc***ry
Same Couple same location marriage date 08/12/1800
I wonder why dates are different.

It would help if there were images for either transcription.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Thank You, so record 08/12/1800 is correct marriage date. I have never used FreeReg/FreeParish Register Search.

FreeREG don't have all parishes, but I think that they are very reliable.
