McIntosh wedding 1862
« on: Sunday 20 December 20 20:44 GMT (UK) »
Hello... Wondering has anybody else come across Hugh McIntosh marriage to Elizabeth (maiden name possibly Mauvre or something similar- working on deciphering it!)
According to their daughter's birth record (Agnes Jackson McIntos, born 1874 in Perth,) they were married July 12th 1862 in Perth. I can't seem to find their marriage record.
The birth address is listed as 4 main Street, Perth.
I'd like to find record of their marriage so I can find out more about them and hopefully clarify Elizabeth's name.
Perhaps this rings a bell with someone on here?
Thanks!

Try downloading one of the other childrens birth certs to see if Elizabeth's maiden name is clearer.

1871 shows daughters Christina 8 & Elizabeth 6 Williamina 4 & Charlotte 2 all b Perth.

SP has an 1861 marriage to a Margaret Mawer??

Thank you,
I was wondering if the 1871 census result might be a different family because there is no Agnes mentioned.
I saw Mrs.Mawer too, would it be likely to be listed as Margaret if you were Elizabeth?
Thank you for your replies.
