the person is
James Smith Durward, Death 17th Oct 1974
  Died at North Saanich , British Columbia.
 he was born in Scotland but lived Canada,

yes ! sad about Hugh....i wonder if they ever did find his body ?...
so it looks like James & Charlotte didn't have kids...oh well ! at least i now know what happened to him & Charlotte ,

James and Charlotte Frances only ever appeared on Canada Voters Lists as a couple, never showed with any other Durward members.  So think it is safe to say they had no children.
