Are you sure you have the right marriage or names?  No Frederick Lloyd marriage to Ann L Smith in 1944 or any other year

Have you viewed the 1939 entry for this couple?  There is only one redacted entry indicating there was only one child by 1939

Frederick Lloyd b 1912 died Dec qtr 1951 Birmingham

Annie L Lloyd married Charles H Smith Dec qtr 1954 Birmingham

Ann L Smith aged 50 died 1963 Birmingham

Carol, are you sure about that death, there is an Annie Louisa Smith death in 2001 Bromsgrove with a very similar birth date ( 6 days different) as that on 1939 register.

Annie Louisa Smith born 27.5.1913 baptised 16.6.1913 St Nicholas Birmingham, daughter of John & Loisa Smith. John's occ Plasterer.
