Lost a Post
« on: Thursday 07 January 21 10:34 GMT (UK) »
I was working on a post at the end of 2020 and within the thread the name of a lady came up as Joan Iris Head born 1919.  The name of Pike is also connected.
I cannot find it on searching Joan Iris Head in the search box.
I tried searching on another 3 name person and found them immediately.
What am I doing wrong?

As an irrelevant comment, I have sometimes got to interesting rootschat threads just by putting the name into Google.  Mr Google supplied me with articles about the sex life of an 81 year old pensioner - is that a reference to my search history?? ;)

1)  That name (husband 1968) does not raise any memories.

2) I did wonder if I was just looking at the thread to see if I could find anything extra, but I was definitely involved in it (frustrated perhaps) because I bought the pdf of the birth.

I also thought that perhaps it was a different site, but I have labelled it rootschatter.

I presume you mean you bought the birth pdf of the lady?  Can you remember the birth year?  Maybe that might help?

Thanks for finding that, but not that post.

Will have to sit and think of roundabout approaches to the problem.

Or just wait and see if it pops up in a few years time.
