Mary was the daughter of Sir Robert HAMILTON of Silvertonhill and his wife Eliz. Baillie.

trees have her marrying Sir John SOMERVILLE of Cambusnethan, but this does not look at all like Somerville or Cambusnethan to me.

Is it ELVINSTONE?   And what is the place?

I think it is STEVENSON.   Still can't figure out the place

Maybe Uddingston, Lanarkshire, Hamilton territory.
 Hamilton of Silvertonhill married a Baillie heiress. The last canon of the Provan of Glasgow Cathedral at the Reformation, was a Baillie who managed to get hold of the lands of the Provan. The Baillie's ran out & had no male heir  hence the Hamilton match. The hall is worth a visit as is Glasgows oldest house Provands Lordship. town house of the canons.
