There is a marriage of a Thomas Wood widower to a Mary Shepherd

and newspaper obit
9 Jan 1796 - Ipswich journal but several have similar report
"On Monday sennight died at Oxford, , Thomas Wood a reputable bookbinder of that university in the 72nd year of his age. In the year 1755 he married jane Bradshaw by whom he had 9 children. About 2 years after her decease he married Mary Shepherd, whom he has now left a widow, and by whom he had 22 children, 3 of whom were born blind"

Not only do you now have a set of 6 x great grandparents, but a large number of  6 x great grand uncles and aunts.

newspaper report of death of Mary Wood (widow of the late Mr T Wood, nearly 50 years a reputable bookseller and bookbinder in this city) - july 1818, says she was in her 78th year, but burial record says 87. year of birth 1731 or 1740. If she had 22 children she must have started young, so 1740 would be my choice. But is a burial record more likely than a newspaper to be right?

possible bapt 1st Aug 1740, Mary and Martha daughters of Robert Shepherd - no mother mentioned. Doesn't say they're twins.

Hi LizzieL.
Can you please tell me Where Jane Bradshaw and Thomas Wood got married.
I have found a Mary Bradshaw and Thomas Wood got Married in 1753.
The National Burial Index Version 3 shows Mary Wood Burial in 1818 aged 87, Burial index not wrong.
Keep up the good Work.

Haven't been able to find marriage between Thomas and Jane, it was from newspaper report, but have found children for a Thomas / Jane Wood, one with middle name Bradshaw. Vicar might have made an error with name. It was before couple had to sign.
