Hi

Looking for James Hesketh b abt 1826 in Liverpool + wife Ellen or Eleanor.

By 1861 he was a ropemaker & living off Scotland Road.

I only have the 1851 Liverpool name index so you need somebody with the full census to look up the following reference for you.  Piece number 2192/3 folio 576

James Hesketh 25 Rope maker b Liverpool
Eleanor 25 b Chester

I don't know whether James father was also called James - rope maker (info will be on James & Eleanors marriage cert)  If he was, this may be James parents and siblings as they are in a similar locality  Piece number 2192/3 folio 590A

All born Liverpool and all surname Hesketh

I'm fairly certain the older James is his father, but this will keep me busy for a while.

Hi Sandra - I know its a long tiome since this post but are you still looking for information on James Hesketh and Eleanor? They are my 3x great-grandparents. I have photos of their grave if you are interested in seeing them?
