Family moved to New Zealand but cant find them

I have a family that I think moved to New Zealand, I cant find them in England after 81, but can find the deaths of the parents on ancestry, but I dont have the full world account.

If anyone could find them please that would be great

Found the deaths of Mary 1918 and William 1924 buried at Meadowbank, Auckland Council, Auckland, New Zealand

Would love to know when they emigrated and what happened to them over there, if there are any census or marriage info.

Mary and the four children arrived in Auckland, New Zealand on 25 June 1885 on the Aorangi. The passenger manifest is available for free on FamilySearch, you just need to register to be able to view it. I searched for Mary, but she and the four children are listed togther in the manifest if you view the attached image.

There is no obvious match for William Hunt Gilbertson in the passenger manifests, but the death of a William Hunt Gilbertson in 1924 at the age of 90 is recorded on the New Zealand Births, Deaths & Marriages Online website, so it looks as though he may have travelled separately from the rest of the family, presumably in advance of their arrival in June 1885.

You could try searching on the New Zealand Births, Deaths & Marriages Online website for marriages and deaths of the children, as well as any potential grandchildren as you can search by mother's given names as well.

A quick search brings up the marriage of a William Morley Gilbertson to a Florence Wilson in 1904. Searching births from 1904 for a mother with the name Florence Gilbertson then brings up six children born between 1906 and 1914, with their father named as William Morley Gilbertson, including what must be twins in 1910.

The only marriage for an Alfred Gilbertson is for a Laurence Alfred Gilbertson in 1936, which seems to be too late for Alfred, but which does tie in with one of William Morley Gilbertson's twins born in 1910. There is only one marriage for a Lawrence Gilbertson in 1914 to a Celia Barnes, which seems a little late given how old he would have been. For Charles, there is the marriage of a Charles Gilbertson in 1902 to an Eva Kathleen Martin, which would certainly seem to be about the right time, and there is also the marriage of a William Charles Gilbertson in 1941, which fits with the second of William Morley Gilbertson's twins born in 1910.

I suspect with a little bit of searching you could probably get a long way in terms of building a tree.
