NORMAN MACLEAN   ANN THOMSON   Marriage.   1862   Barvas

In 1861 on SP with sister Christy age 21.

MCLEAN   NORMAND   1861   M   24   086/A 3/ 19   Barvas   Ross and Cromarty

In 1851 (freereg) he is 14 living with his elder brother Neil, noted as Head, two other siblings and his mother Christy age 52, a widow.

On 1861 SP census there are three Ann’s one age 12 & one 37 and the one below who was not living with other Thomson’s

THOMSON   ANN   1861   F   24   086/A 9/ 3   Barvas   Ross and Cromarty

However she is on the 1851 (Freereg) with her parents Donald & Henrietha & 6 siblings, transcribed as Tomson.

Might be worth a look?

I think the male at the top of the record refers to father Norman , it has female lower down as per Catherine's record -
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQ43-KMX

Of course the only real proof will be the birth certificate.

Thank you for the information! What is freereg?

Slight mistake on my part.

https://www.freecen.org.uk - covers most areas of GB for some census years.

https://www.freereg.org.uk - covers some BMD in most areas of UK.

I've got her death certificate, thank you! Have attached it.Her parents are confirmed as Donald and Henrietta Thomson. But what is Henrietta's maiden name? I can't make it out.

Also, what is the cause of death? Am I seeing the word 'suicidal' there?

Also, the informant appears to have been her grandson. What is his name?  ???
