Hiscock/Napier-Morgan

Hi im trying to trace info on my great-grandfather Albert Edward Hiscock born 1872.
His son (my grandfather, also Albert Edward Hiscock, born 1906, from Bath, Somerset, in 1927 changed his surname to Napier-Morgan (dont know why nor where the name came from))Albert Edward Napier-Morgan married Violet Isset Carter in 1936 in Widcombe.
I need info on Albert Edward senior, his wife and parents and any siblings would be great !!

I cannot find a birth registration for Albert Edward, this is the nearest.

The 1891 census on freecen but states all family born Wiltshire but it looks like that was only the parents.

No trace in 1901?

Harry Hiscox married Elizabeth Mallard Bath 1860

It looks like Albert Hiscocks married Elizabeth Lyle Harris Q4/1905 5C 327 Bath, Somerset, you will need the certificate to be sure.

Elizabeth’s maiden name was likely to be Morgan and she may have married Mr Harris in the USA if their children’s births on the 1911 census are correct.

You know where Morgan came from, what about Napier?

I did hear someone who changed their name due to an  inheritance

No dont know where the Napier is from, his mother's maiden name appears to have been Morgan, but cant find any connection with Napier !!
