Thomas Cawcutt

In 1841 Thomas Cawcutt (age 65) liviing in Impington with his wife Elizabeth (60) and five children, Frederick, Henrietta, Mary, Eliza, Ann,  Caroline. Children all born Boxworth Cambs. Thomas and Elizabeth out of County. First child born about 1805.

Thomas died 1843 age 70 years and Elizabeth 1847 age 70 years, both at Longstanton Cambs.

Can anyone see Thomas's birth and the marriage between Thomas and Elizabeth?

There are 8 baptisms on https://www.freereg.org.uk for a Thomas & Elizabeth 1803 – 1818.

Some note Thomas as a Farmer.

Sadly no birth or marriage?

Thanks for looking .... I found some more children born to Thomas & Elizabeth in Offord Cluny, but no marriage for them.
The Northampton Mercury Jan 1894 (Farm Sale) shows Thomas as a tenant farmer in Offord Cluny.

I guess you are correct with the E. I note the 1841 census you mention.

1841 census Thomas and Elizabeth not born in the County of Cambridge.

Thomas death suggests born about 1773, Elizabeth 1777

Elizabeth’s death registered Cambridge?

Thomas below – seems strange?

I have had a good look for their baptism’s but nothing seems right.

There is a bit of a strange coincidence, the following deaths are a couple of  similar names. They both appear on the 1841 census, Thomas on the 1851/61, he is a farmer. Probably not connected but you never know.

Thomas had two sons Samuel and Frederick. Both were farmers, Samuel at Boxworth and Frederick at Trumpington. AS far as I can tell Frederick was the only child that married.

Although Thomas Cawcutt only lived in Impington for about 25 years the farm was still called Cawcutt's Farm until recently (It's now a hotel), over 150 years.
