Was Harry born 1920, Rugby and they married 1940, Rugby?

I think the photos look late 1930s-1940s. They just have that 'feel; about them 

My grandma (their daughter) has a box full of documents and items that belonged to Harry. She told me today that she plans on retrieving the box and passing them down to me very soon, so I haven't had the chance to look at any birth or marriage documents yet.

That said, I did find some information online the other day that suggests he was indeed born in 1920. Is there a specific reason why you're asking?

Harry T Linford Dec Q, 1920, Rugby. Mother's maiden name - Tasker

Add - They married Sept Q 1940, Rugby

I thought they looked 1930s-40s so checked the BMDs

Ahh, okay.

I have seen that birth registration before. It was August 29th, 1920.
A family member of mine just confirmed that August was his birth month.
A Mrs. (Elizabeth?) Tasker was listed as a parent.

I also came across a marriage registration for a Doris Todd, with a Harry T Linford listed as a possible spouse, also dated 1940.
