I am looking for the birth of this woman, I am a member of the Sussex family history group and have checked Rotherfield and Mayfield to no avail.

Any help appreciated

Hi,

Have you ruled out the Elizabeth Bray baptised in Balcombe 16 Feb 1594/5 daughter of John?

I know it is quite a distance but there don't seem to be any Bray's baptised at the end of the 16th century in Mayfield or Rotherfield at all.
