"The Stage" July 25th 1935 mentions the death of Dr, Arthur Allan Miller and that he leaves a widow, Eleanor Street and one son.
The 1939 register appears to have Eleanor miller living in london.

Many thanks for identifying the correct MILLER family that I have now been able to extend,
However, less success for his actress wife, Eleanor STREET.  Perhaps this is also a stage-name?

Mark, not sure if it helps with identifying Eleanor Street further but she is showing on a shipping manifest as Miss Elinor Street, actress aged 23. She is with a troupe of actors heading to New York, leaving Porstmouth on 14 Sep 1919 on the 'Nieuw Amsterdam'.

There is a passenger incoming entry from Quebec on the 'Empress of France' arriving at Liverpool on 22 Jul 1920. She gave an address in Maida Vale for her London address. Possibly 13 Portsdown Road?

I think I have a possible for Eleanor Street (I do think this is her name rather than stage name).

If her  birth date from the 1939 register is correct, there is only one possible birth I think:

A Maud McMehan married a James Christopher Street in 1887: 4th Qrt 1887  Croydon 2a/ 508

The family entry for 1901 www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XSQD-HKF James Christopher died in Feb 1911, wife Maud in 1910. Can't see Eleanor in 1911 so far.

And that is as far as I can see as a possible for her.

Mark, not sure if this is a direct line but you may need to consider getting the 1924 marriage cert to confirm her father's name at least to let you follow though for her.

Nothing on the marriage on the BNA. Wonder if the Times newspaper carried anything?
