Hi

Any idea what the first word of the bachelor's occupation in the attached image is? Looks like Calcisier(??) Man at a Copper Works, but that doesn't make sense.

I suspect he was actually a calciner man. Part of the ‘n’ in the middle of the words hasn’t reproduced very well
