She actually married William and not James. The Church Parish was Kilworth. The baptisms there only go back to 1829.

A few of my relatives got married in that church so I am familiar with the area. The parish covers both Cork and Waterford. It also borders with County Tipperary as well.

When you compare the tithe applotment records with civil parishes that would be in that church parish, there are two civil parishes that coincide with Baldwins for County Cork.

I would go with the civil parish of Macroney because there is only one entry for a Matthew Baldwin 1827 in Billerough,Lowerlodge.

The witnesses to her marriage are Matthew and Ellen Baldwin, who I suspect are her brother and sister in law. Matthew Baldwin and Ellen Barry had 3 children baptized at Kilworth:
Edmond 18 Dec 1838
William 26 Oct 1840
Ellen 27 Jan 1844

This would suggest that Matthew's father's name was Edmond.
