James Smith Alnwick Northumberland army pensioner.

Evening folk's,we believe James is the brother of my Gtx2 Grandfather John F Smith who was
born near Wendover bucks in 1825 and Married in Newcastle 1851.James seems to have joined the army and in the 1871 to 1901 Census is in Alnwick recorded as an army pensioner on one census
his unit is recorded as 3rd Battalion Northumberland Fusilier's.Are there any records that would be available for James or anywhere to look for information?

Probably isn't open just yet but at some point you might try contacting this museum at Alnwick to see if they might have anything on him perhaps?
