Stanislaw Nowacki killed in WW2

Can anyone please help with information on this Polish airman whose aircraft crashed into the sea on 14th January 1944.  His body was found in the sea off Porlock, Somerset in early February 1944 and his squadron records show that his funeral was held on or about 14th February in Weston Mill cemetery, Plymouth.  His death was recorded in Exmoor district and the reference I have is Volume 15c Page 315.  Does anyone know where the body was landed and by which vessel or fishing boat.  Many thanks.

This aircraft was lost during a normal training flight between Predannack and Cardigan Bay in Wales; the reasons are unknown.  All five (?) crew were lost.  Sergeant Krzywon had previously survived a crash in W5720 which was shot down by flak in October 1941.  The entire crew were lost, they were: F/Lt Waclaw Chomka, F/Lt Wiktoryn Ciechanowski,  F/O Stanislaw Nowacki, F/Sgt Tadeusz Krzywon and  Sgt Wlodzimierz Druciak.

The 304 Blogspot quote is from my own site!  I thought I had this crash tied up until I discovered that he was buried in Plymouth but his body was brought ashore somewhere in the Porlock area.  Even though he was based at Predannack, the Polish bodies were usually taken to Newark, Notts for burial. I sense a story here so I am trying to find out which boat brought him ashore.  I don't know the area but I don't think the large naval vessels could have come into the small ports in the area - so I thought it might have been a local fishing boat that picked him up.  There will now be few, if any, people now living who remember it so I will have to rely on family memories or just possibly a newspaper report.  Thanks for your interest.

Probably censorship prevented the story from being told.  They were practising a new method of photographing the results of attacks on submarines.  This was achieved by dummy attacks on British submarines at night and a new method of recording the attacks and assessing the results was being developed.  The authorities would not want that to be known so they probably suppressed the story.

The incidental information is tantalising!  Would there have been any sort of Coroner's Inquest or Police report on the body?  Although it was wartime and such reports/enquiries would be cursory at best, it is just possible they might mention the boat (or its skipper's name) that landed the body.

There are 25 Polish personnel amongst the WW2 military burials at Plymouth (Weston Mill) cemetery.
