It seems I've gone wrong somewhere.....

I keep getting mixed up with names/generations.
Where have you gone wrong?
I think possibly, if this is correct, and you think it is because they lived beside each other, then Patrick could be a name from the next generation.

Out of the surviving children, Alexander/Alick is one we can’t account for. The others are living near each other in 1911 and there are military records hopefully for them.

I agree the repetition of names and what seems to be inter marrying families it is confusing. You are right Patrick is next generation! The other brothers are accountable, as you said Alexander.... I cannot account for. Thanks so much. Is there a way you could look at my tree??

Hi

Realised i made a mistake about my uncle "jack" John Burke born approx 1922. He was married to a lady called June.

Have also discovered that my great grandfather and his brother were given homes on "military road" buttevant as they had fought in ww1 for the British army. Could anyone point me in the direction of finding this out?

The addresses on records already found show Doneraile rather than Buttevant.
Have you checked Irish Genealogy for further records if your family?
Here is something about the Barracks
https://www.buttevant.ie/barrack-town/

I think we established that uncle Jack’s death was later than the online records?

I can’t see any reference to someone called ‘June’ in Mallow records.

I wonder if it is a generational mistake?
This John marrying Julia Crone might be the son of Daniel
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1941/08818/5188436.pdf

I think Thomas’ and Daniel’s deaths might be there with addresses on Mallow Road, Doneraile.

Yes you are right. Uncle jack is later I have emailed the correct place to enquire. I am unsure as well if he married in doneraile or the UK. All census shows Doneraile but I think around ww2 ending was when they lived in "military road" .

I think it is a generational mistake we seem to have many if those!

Do you mean WW1 when it was still British rule?
The deaths, I saw,  gave Mallow Road, Doneraile, I think.
