Handwriting (and location) help
« on: Thursday 25 February 21 18:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi all, I have a few photo of the below chap with no explanation who he is!

Then I found this version today and on the back I think it says "July 1930". Can anyone work out the rest?  I was hoping it would tell me who he is! Seems I may never know (I include his image on photo 2!)

Thanks
MJ
Fouldes.<br />Any area where our family are.  My branch started around Derbyshire, Nott's and Yorkshire.  We ended up in South Lincolnshire!  So yay!  Course any area with Fouldes in would help!  See my family tree below for what gaps I have!  Cheers!

Would also like to see any Beaumont's from Sheffield as I have lots of family photos & can't identify them!!

I see the photograph mentions Bridlington, so I think the inscription says "at Brid alone".

Agree with GR2.

It says, under July 1930:

'at Brid alone'

No name and address. It is just a photograph printed on a plain postcard. I have another photo of the chap, with a lady, standing in front of what looks like some cliffs. I suppose it could also be Bridlington as apparently there are some cliffs around there. I actually have a few photos of the guy over the years but none tell me who he is!

Thank you
MJ

That would make sense! My family roots are from Yorkshire (and nearby counties). Wish I could find who he was!

Thanks for decyfering for me!
