On Old naval records I have come across “Occupation “ stated as G H School, what does G H stand for and was this a boys naval training School?

Greenwich Hospital School. Presumably his father was in the Royal Navy ?

Good afternoon,

I think "GH School" is part of the address where he was born. Kingston is part of Ringwood in Hampshire. His occupation is decorator, followed by something indecipherable in brackets.

So maybe Girls High School or similar.
