What does the t mean in the FSt abbreviation - entered into the 1841 Census occupation column?

Female Servant _____  ?

I don't think it's a "t"?
Looks like a cross - made  after the census was completed.

Yes, agree, it looks like a cross but intentional. They have also been added to the next page but without an entry in the occupation column. What would these mean?

The cross probably was intentional it is used on adjoining pages against other entries. 

Enumerators were required to compile summaries of the census they took and often just added indicators to the records to help them do this.  If you look at the following page there is a whole household with these x's in that column so no obvious reason for having it there.
