Winifred O’Malley

Hi. I am searching for info about my grandmother Winifred O’Malley born abt 1876 in Co Mayo. Winnie married my g/f John Convey she was called Winnie Cobler in Killasser and Swinford because John was a cobbler. I have tried to find anything about her but no luck so far.

Yes I could not find any birth and death records it’s like she never existed. No luck with my grandfather John Convey either. I am wondering if her first name was not Winifred but something else. I am called a name different to what I was named on birth certificate. Seems the Irish do that sometimes.

Ah yes that is my mum’s family in 1911 census tho mum was not born until 1913. Thank u. Wonder why I can’t find Winifred O’Malley birth certificate. Having no trouble with my dads family Scanlon’s have been able to trace way back. No such luck with maternal grandmother.

Winifred jnr was a Minor on her marriage to John Convey in Feb 1903,she was born July 1882 as already posted so she was still under 21 by a few months
