Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Sgt Edward Michael Williams - Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserves.  Service No:- 979102 - born 1 December 1919 died 17 January 1941
Pilot Sgt E M Williams died when his aircraft stalled at 1000ft on approach to land then crashed into the ground.

The private memorial marking the grave of Pvt Sands Sgt Williams no longer provides adequate commemoration. The commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Probate for Edward Michael Williams who died 17 January 1941 of 1 The Ridgway Newport  Monmouthshire on war service. Administration Llandaff 5 th April 1943 to Elsie Annie Williams (widow) effects £137  4 s  2 d.
