Looking for Samuel James Pollock of Tirmaquin, Limavady

I am trying to find information on a Samuel James Pollock who lived in Tirmaquin, Limavady in 1940/early 50's and was a farmer there.
I know his grandparents were William Pollock (B 1841) and Eliza Pollock (B 1851) and they have 6 children; WM Henry Pollock 1882, Jane C Pollock 1885, Samuel Pollock 1886, Annie M Pollock 1889 Married in 1916 to William Alcorn) James Hugh Pollock (B 1891) married 1923 Helen Mary & Bessie Pollock (B 1894) died 1946.
One of them must of has a son but I do not know which one it was and his name was Samuel James Pollock.
Any information or help would be much appreciated.

Think you need to have another look at the birthyears you give above for Grandparents William & Eliza

Grandfather William b 1882 but grandmother Eliza b 1851?

When was Samuel James born?  There is more than one with those names.  As his surname was Pollock he must have been the son of one of the male Pollocks

Yes thank you. I have just changed the year of birth to 1841.
 I do not have Samuel James Pollock's year of birth unfortunately.
I know William born 1882 was a reverend and died 1956 - no children mentioned in his will as left to his sister Annie
James Hugh Pollock - 1 Son in 1941 died 1983 called Ronald Desmond Pollock
Samual Pollock born 1886 - unsure if he died 1918 but cant find if any children

Possibly you may have misunderstood the information on the PRONI wills site:

Pollock William Henry reverend of Termaquin Limavady county Londonderry retired clergyman died 28 February 1956 Probate Londonderry 12 February to Annie M. Alcorn widow. Effects £482 10s. 2d.

What that probate abstract tells you is that Annie was the executor. It does not mean she inherited everything. Indeed she might not have got anything at all. You need to get the will from PRONI and see what it says. He may have had children and they may be in the will.

I think you need to consider the following possibilities-
1) Samuel James was the illegitimate son of one of the daughters of William & Eliza
2) James was a son of one of William & Eliza's daughter-in-laws

Alcorn William of Terrydoo county Londonderry farmer died 5 November 1931 Administration Londonderry 7 January to Annie M. Alcorn the widow. Effects £136 5s.

Pollock James Hugh of Termaquin Limavady county Londonderry farmer died 18 December 1948 at Roe Valley Hospital Limavady aforesaid Administration Londonderry 1 February to Mary Helen Pollock the widow. Effects £914 18s. 6d.

Pollock Bessie of Terrydoo Limavady county Londonderry spinster died 12 December 1946 Administration Londonderry 7 July to the reverend William Henry Pollock clergyman. Effects £65 13s. 10d.
