Walter Elliott - Montreal

Hi

Walter Elliott b.London, England 1870 married Emma Elizabeth Langford (b.London, England) in 1894.

They had 5 surviving daughters:

Ada Rose Elliott b.1895
Violet Florence Elliott b.1898
Daisy Pretoria Elliott b.1900
Lily Elizabeth Elliott b.1902
Ivy Annie Elliott b.1907

They all show up in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Notre Dame) in the 1921 Canada Census.

I've found an obituary of Walter Elliott stating he died in Montréal 28th December 1930.

I've also found the obituary of Daisy Pretoria Elliott (incorrectly named Daisy Patricia Elliott) who died 13th January 1982 in Montréal General Hospital.

This obituary states she is survived by sisters Lily (L Sparke), and Ann Ivy (A I Eadie).

I'm struggling to find their arrival to Canada.

I'm also struggling to find the marriages and spouses names of the sisters (presumably Daisy never married).

And also the deaths of Emma Elizabeth Elliott (Langford) and her daughters (or their spouses).

Can anybody please help?

I have since found the death and grave of Lily Elizabeth Sparke.

She married Charles Henry Sparke (1897-1984) in Montreal 1926, and died in 1993.

They are buried in Fulford Cemetery.

Her obituary states she is survived by her sister Ann Ivy Eadie, so she must have died after 1993.

Predeceased by husband WW1 vet John Eadie 1891 -1960.

Following your passenger list I've found her marriage to James Ellis Clapham in Wandsworth, London in 1917 and the birth of their daughter Enid Clapham in 1919?

I'd also be interested in Enid's details in Canada if possible.

Birth - Baptist Grace Church of Pearl Iris Winera Clapham, b. 7 Dec. 1920 to James Ellis Clapham, carpenter and joiner of Battersea, London, England and Ada Rose Elliott of Montreal. Ada signs and sister Daisy Elliott.

Marriage - Baptist Olivet Church, 17 August 1940, Pearl Iris Winera Clapham, age 19 of Ste. Eustache sur Lac, Quebec married George Llewellyn Focy Crowther, RCAF, age 23 of Bathurst, New Brunswick. They both sign, witnesses Enid Clapham and JFM Parkes.

I've found an arrival in Detroit, Michigan for Violet Parkes in 1951.

Her husband is on a different one earlier the same year.

And they ended up in Wichita, Kansas and that was their planned future residence, but I don't know if they died there.
