Hutt family vault St Mary's Kidlington
« on: Saturday 13 March 21 14:53 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I just wondered if anyone has heard of a Hutt family vault at Kidlington please?

I am trying to confirm whether a Richard Hutt who lived in Yarnton, came from Thrupp and was buried in Kidlington 1851 was actually buried in a family vault like the papers at the time said.

I am not exactly sure if this would be a vault in the church or in the grave yard.

British History online Thrupp parish description says that the Hutts of Thrupp were buried in the northern transept of the Church 1789-1812 but Richard died in 1851.

If anyone is familiar with the church and knows anything about this I would be very grateful to hear more.

Best wishes Emma

It might be worth writing/emailing the church to see if the parish holds any records of burials in family crypts or perhaps all such records have been handed to the Oxfordshire records office, letter to them might clarify that.

Thank you very much for getting back to me and for the suggestion, I will send them an email now.
Best wishes
