Help tracing Jennett McCorquindale b28 May 1818

I see from a number of online trees that Duncan McCorquindale  went on to marry a Jean Barclay. They had at least seven children. Could she have stayed with them?

Just looked at the two Census's for Duncan McCorquindale and she isn't on them.

I have a feeling that Carole may be right in saying did she die in Infancy. But will keep looking.

I had a quick look in SP for burials but not all are listed in the parish registers before 1855. I was going to suggest that you looked in the new kirk session records on SP for a mortcloth entry but Canonbie kirk sessions records aren't listed there.

Don't despair.

I sent SP a message thanking them for putting the KS records online, and their reply said, "We're so pleased to have been able to make the kirk session records available online, and are looking forward to being able to use the system to add further batches of digitised kirk session, presbytery and synod records in the coming months".

So it looks as if they are still working on them, and there will be more to come.

That is good . But I do find it very expensive.
