Would like to see if anyone can help me regarding my husband's 4 x great grandparents, George Pritchard and his wife Sarah Farley.  Haven't been able to find out a single bit of information about them.  I would also like to find out about my husband's 3 x great grandparents, John Pritchard and Ann (Mary) Drayton/Dayton.  I have been told that John was born about 1773, Cradley/Kington and died 15 February 1862, Ross, Herefordshire.  Ann/Mary Drayton/Dayton was born about 1783, Great Hanwood, Shropshire, England.  This information has been passed down to me but I am not aware of the source of information.  Any/Mary's father was possibly John Drayton/Dayton.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm somewhat confused here - George Pritchard and Sarah Farley married 29/8/1783 Berrow, Worcestershire so how can they be the parents of a John bc.1773??

Plus, John Pritchard married Mary Drayton 30/7/1798 Kingstone so doubt his wife was bc.1783 as would only be 15 at marriage.

It was legal for girls to marry at 13 then with parent's consent.

All I know about George Pritchard and Sarah Farley is that they were the parents of John Pritchard.  I have not been able to find anything.  I am now confused about the birth of John Pritchard (1773) and Mary Drayton.
Where did you get the information about George and Sarah.  I don't have much experience in going back so far.

As I stated, they married at Kingstone.

I think you may have to back up a generation here.

What child of John/Mary are you descended from?
When/where were they bapt?
When/where did they marry?

If John was born c 1773 and died Feb 1862 he should be on the 1861 Census.
I can find one that matches that info.

This is the only Death Reg GRO 1862 but age is wrong.

There is a birth of John Pritchard to George and Sarah in castlmorton,  possibly castlemartin, close to Berrow, but in Dec. 1783.
