Thanks very much Rosie and Queenie. Still trying to find out where "Fisherton" was. The reference that is on Ancestry says Scotland but I doubt that. To get to Scotland from Bedford in 1 day in the 1860s is stretching it a bit and why would they send her all that way anyway.

I had the exact same thought. I googled it and I believe this is the place:

No idea why it says Scotland, it was in Salisbury!

There is a place  Fisherton in Scotland overlooking the Moray Firth search Google
