Bernard McMahon and Ann Shields

Hello all,
Bernard McMahon married Ann Shields at St. Francis Xavier,  Manhattan, New York on 3 November 1889.  The witnesses were Bernard Riley and Mary Harkins.

I am trying to locate any children from Bernard and Ann's marriage and would like to know what became of Bernard and Ann as I have not been able to locate them on the US Census.  Thank you.

Ann was born in Ireland in 1866, I'm afraid I don't have any information on Bernard.

Bernard McMahon married Ann Shields at St. Francis Xavier,  Manhattan, New York on 3 November 1889.  Bernard was the son of Patrick McMahon and Cath McErnany and Ann was the daughter of Michael Shields and Bridget Kenedy.  The witnesses were Bernard Riley and Mary Harkins.

a tree on ancestry says that Bernard remarried a Bridget Smith after Annie Shields died and that this is them in 1900. Don't just go by familysearch's ages of the children. They are not correct.

the 1900 household has a daughter Katherine born in England in 1883. not Bridget's daughter.
I haven't find Katherine's birth. I didn't find Bernard and Annie Shield's marriage in freebmd or the Irish civil records.

or maybe not. The age matches, but the plot owner is John McMahon.

People say that Bernard was in Jersey City in 1880 with his brothers, but none of the ones in the household they refer to are named John. There is a Michael (head), Thomas, Bernard, Daniel, and Patrick

A John McMahon born 1844 died in Nov 1892 in Jersey City, but he was survived by his wife Jane.

John is not buried in the same plot as the Anna, age 27, who died in 1892.
