I am assuming you have seen this info for the moment.
I didnt see a marriage document in Ancestry either in Canada or England. It does appear that their marriage took place in Saskatchewan, after they arrived from England which is one of the harder provinces to research in. I would contact the local public library in the town where Ethel (taken from the service file) lived in there or the Saskatoon or Regina Public libraries and see if they will do a newspaper archive lookup for their marriage in 1910, which is abt a year before the birth of the first child. You could also contact the local genealogy club and see if they would help find this record as well.
I didn't see a marriage for them in England either, but perhaps it was common law? I would contact the local genealogy clubs and public libraries in the area where the lived there as well.
Hoping this helps you out,
JDC
