Commonwealth War Grave Commission are appealing for relatives of Pvt Daniel Bernard OBrien - East Surrey Regiment - service no :-  6139894 - died 14/6/1940 - aged 24 years - buried Merton St Marys Churchyard.

UK, Army Roll of Honour, 1939-1945 - Pvt Dennis Obrien - Born London - Resided London - East Surrey Regiment - Infantry - Death Date 14 Jun 1940

The private memorial marking the grave o Pvt O Brien no longer provides adequate commemoration, the commission are in the process of producing a new headstone.
