You will have to buy the marriage certificate for that information. If you don’t have the reference, it is:-

PATEMAN  Muriel M. December 1936 Whittlesey, Vol.3b. Page 1493.

I think you are referring to the 1939 Register,  it was created for the issuing of Identity cards and ration books, it was not a census and there was no census in 1942 because of the war.

According to the 1939 Register she was born on 6th May 1910 -- so she should be on the 1911 census.

Also according to the marriage record she was Muriel M Pateman. In addition -- she may have been married before don't forget - so Pateman might not be her maiden name.

Seems Rosie has come up with her possible maiden name and previous marriage as I was writing this.

Margaret,

Her parents MAY be Arthur Woods and Emily Mildred Brown who married in Peterborough Q/E June 1903.

Check out the 1911 census - we cannot give details of that census. However as Muriel was born in 1910 you should find her on that with her family.
