Ruskie, you say it was not as hot, though sunny , OF COURSE....my son put 10 seconds of a joke from little grandson, and rain was bucketing down where they were!
Caroline I am sad, (and slightly terrified,) that you are feeling so ill from your second vaccination dose. Hope you have a better day, and night, ahead.
How do you, (does anyone,) stay so slim when you are always cooking such yummy things?
Roobarb, glad you had the beauty of the snow without lasting inconvenience.
I hate it that being a disgusting litterlout is now considered Kool. There is no respect in the Uk, and matters are not getting any better. Now I sound like a grumpy old trout, which I suppose I am, but what is the difficulty in taking rubbish to a bin, or back where it was brought from in the first place?
Diana, I hope you do get those keys back. What a nightmare! (In the past I have advertised keys, and also a covid vaccination card on local forums, and had zero responses.)
Sunday: I tried to make contact with family in Oz, but no response of course.
We had brief snow and sleet showers here, right by the beach, but it didn't last.
Took a walk in the woods, same as last week, but bluebells still not in profusion. Much colder and less pleasant than last week, although more birds in evidence. Saw chiffchaff, coal tit, wrens, tree creeper plus all the usual blackbirds, robins, sparrow, buzzard. Lots of wild flowers, but very few butterflies.
Not much else to report, though "Line of Duty" was quite hectic I thought.
