Hi I'm from Alberta, Canada. I'm looking for John Frederick Wharton born 1893 Ben Rhydding yorkshire England. Migrated to Tasmania about 1920. Died between 1956 and 1977 Tasmania. Death notice from the Edmonton Times obituary for James Wharton listed Fred in Australia as a surviving relation along with 3 sisters. I'm a grand niece of those listed above. John Frederick possibly married Typhena Albina Russell, son Tasman. He went by the name of Fred. Possible living relation is (*)

As close as I can get in this country:

1979/41488   Wharton   Fred   21 September 1891


??

Note the birth in the September quarter. That ties in with the UK 1893 birth registration. 1891 above is a couple of years out but we know that what appears in a death registration is often not accurate.
