You are researching the origins of Mary KELLY m. William CONDON, 1843, NSW.

If the marriage record is the earliest evidence you have that Mary KELLY existed, start with that document.

Does Mary sign......or make her mark?. Is Mary literate?

What church does she marry in?    Who are the witnesses?

Can you please list all the information on her death certificate.....everything please, including informant and "years in the colony"

Mary Kelly was born well before the start of birth registration in Ireland (1864) and to see if a church register for her baptism survives (many areas don't have surviving records that far back) you need a place to start searching- parish or townland.
People familiar with Irish research will possibly not see posts on this board to click on 'report to moderator' and ask for it to be moved to IRELAND board.

Can I ask that you continue with the Australia board for a bit longer. This is a location (NSW) and time (19th century)  when events in the lives of immigrants offer good opportunities to locate their origins back home.

Immigrants could be sponsored by someone in the colony, could themselves sponsor an immigrant. They could already have family in the colony.

You have Mary m to James that is her father her spouse is William they married in Goulburn in NSW 1843 would have been a Catholic Church
I don’t have any birth or death certificates just odd references from
Australian convict records ; William was a convict .
