Indentured in The Merchant Navy, can’t find him before then.

I’m looking for William James Wilson, born (approx) 1857, who was Indentured in the Merchant Navy on the 28th April 1873. Aged 16 years.

He was bound to J.Russell, Master of the ‘Charlotte’, for 4 years, but deserted in New York in November 1875.

I’m trying to find him, hopefully with some family, in the Cork area anytime before then.
