I have an Alexander Porter living at this address in 1852 is there anyway of finding out who lived with him, or anything else about him.

There's no mention of Gaffigan's Row or Gaffikin's Row in the 1852 Directory, Steve. I checked the directories on the Lennon Wylie site. It wasn't in the 1843 directory but is in the 1861 directory ...

I think they were probably knocked down some years ago, Steve. There's been a large amount of redevelopment in that area of Belfast and the houses are now larger. Unfortunately the annual street directories listing residents and traders ceased publication a few years ago.
