Marriage lookup. Amos Allen and his sister Florence Louise zallen

Morning all,  I am looking for 2 weddings of brother and sister. 

Amos Allen born born abt 1873.  Married in Whitchchurch Hampshire abt 1895.

Florence Louise Allen born abt 1875.  Married  in. Basingstoke. To  William Henry Hide.

These are the illigitamate children of a Fanny Allen.   I would like to know who they have nominated as father at their marriages.

Interest lies with the name Knight

Did Fanny marry soon after they were born?  Sometimes step fathers names are listed.

Banns were called in 1903 for that Amos to Sarah Elizabeth Whittock

So Fanny marries in 1888 to Philip Dymer and has 2 Allen children on the 1891 census

Millicent 11

Maybe the 11 year old was Amelia Jane baptised 1 Feb 1880 mother Fanny Allen

Thankyou all for your help.  Yes think I have to send off for marriage certs. 

Millipede you are correct,  mother Fanny did marry Phillip Dimer. She had 3 illigitamate children before her marriage, Amos, Francis Louisa. who also went by the name of Louisa, and  Amelia Jane.  On Francis  baptism her name is Francis Louisa Knight Allen..  our thinking is that Amos will have the same father,  Amelia Jane Allen had another father.  Am hoping that marriage certs might throw some light on it.

I'm not sure that the 1895 marriage in Whitchurch is the correct Amos ALLEN.

There are army service records at FindMyPast that show,

Married:  Elizabeth Jane SHOLL,  spinster,  2nd January 1895,  Ashe, Hants
Discharged:  31st January 1901,  Woolwich 
Address:  30 Godfrey St. Woolwich
Father:  Charles ALLEN
Mother:  Jane ALLEN  (dead)


This Amos can be found in the 1861 and 1871 censuses and the couple can be seen in 1901 and 1911.
