Lost family. Help needed!!

Hope someone out there can help. I was kindly given the following;

1841 HO107/1251 Masham
Edward Grundell 35yrs but not 40yrs
Margaret Grundell 35 yrs but not 40yrs
Hannah Grundell 5yrs but not 10yrs
John Grundell 5 yrs but not 10 yrs
Thomas Grundell 11 months
all born in county.

This was great but the trouble is I can not find this family in any later census or anywhere else. Any ideas or help welcome.

This may not be relevant as I am not sure where Stonton is.

Could be the young Thomas though?   He is the only one you can trace accurately as his age is correct.    Presumably you have looked for him in the births?   It is unusual for children not to have the correct age in 1841.  All others were rounded down to the nearest 5 but kids under 15 were generally shown as exact.

Thank you Andrea. Stonton is in Leicestershire, not really near my lot in N Yorks. I have tried looking for Thomas's  birth but have not been able to find it anywhere, or any of the other family. Quite a puzzle but will keep looking.

Hi Karine

The age of Hannah & John as in 1841 "should" be pretty accurate as the rule for rounding down ages to the nearest 5 years should only have applied to adults over 15 years of age.
