Just to let people know .. North Shields Local Studies has opened again this morning!
At time of writing, I have noticed that their website still seems to suggest it is closed .. but take no notice of this - it is definitely open.
Safety measures are in place re sanitising/social distancing, etc. Any items used are put into quarantine afterwards, so check with the Local Studies staff that want you want will be available before you go.
Just to add I have look ups to do for people both on and off RootsChat. I only got a few covered this morning (before I ran out of time) as there is a short time slot system in place. I will try to do all the look ups I have promised at some point in the next few weeks, if I can.
