It would make perfect sense that he would be in the same place some 12 months later - I think I was struggling in making his 1841 resident fit the handwriting on his marriage doc - it just looks like it was a "Y" on the marriage cert - I think its safe to say it is an alternative spelling of Cesailgwm-bāch  :) Thank you for your help! X

It could be the old fashion way of writing double ss..... that was written as fs....

Wow !!! reminds me of school days....crack over the knuckles for not being correct! I so happen to have a surname with double ss in it and it has always come up as the old fashion S with loops top and bottom....now I know what it represents! I wont forget.
