Egan/Eagan family missing-Brick Wall

Amongst my late Mother in Law's belongings is a photograph of a Mother (Eva Eagan) with her two children. The Photograph was taken at Lovell Smith Studio in Hastings.  It was sent to her Aunt ?
in 1921.  William was born about 1914 and his sister Lily was born about 1916.
There is a possibility that there is an Irish connection (family information suggests Cork)
Have been trying to find any information for many years now as still no luck

Has your research shown a connection to that surname?  If not - have you considered there may be no biological connection - they may just have been friends?

Although the photograph is addressed to Aunty  you could possibly be right as we were always made to call older neighbours etc Aunty.

I have just been given some more family information that Eva Eagan was a Niece to this Aunt and the family lived in Hastings in Ireland and not Sussex as I was previously told.
Hope I can, finally, be able to put her on the family Tree.
