Information on a death certificate 1858

Can someone please tell me how much information I might see on a death certificate in 1858 -1877 timeline.

Probably depends on which country you are enquiring about!   ;)   Even which area of the country sometimes.

The actual info will only be as acurate as the informant's knowledge of the deceased.

If it is a family member then you might be lucky and get the correct info.
If it's a hospital worker or doctor then they may not have know the deceased person THAT well.

In Victoria, Australia,  I also found info on parents, spouse and  children, and length of time in the colony..   Some of the info was incorrect which led me up a long garden path.

In Tasmania  no wife or children at those dates - (very disappointing!)
