Jane Sampson

I had hoped to find a birth/baptism record for Jane Sampson, born around 1840 in Tipperary, to John Sampson and Margaret Heffernan. Ancestry has some information, but it does not get me very far. It says:

FHL Film Number:   101055

I tried looking in the Irish genealogy site but it doesn't get me anywhere.

Can anyone help unravel the code from Ancestry or point me in a direction, please?

that looks like a civil BMD index record - so cannot refer to a birth in 1840, as registrations started in 1864

to search for a baptism you would need to know what religion her family were and approximately where in County Tipperary, ideally the parish

p.s. that birth was in 1878, Ancestry should have included this vital information

There are some catholic baptisms in Co. Tipperary for the parents you mentioned including a possible match for Jane, but much earlier 1833 Tipperary parish (the town) 24th Feb

Looks like there may be a couple of siblings also, about 4 all younger, two later in the parish of Bansha & Kilmoyler - search the Ireland Catholic baptisms on Ancestry

see the this section of the Tipperary register, Jane's baptism record is about 5th from the end on the left page

Thank you for that - this may be the right person. At least some of the other information we have (almost all of which is inconsistent) fits reasonably well.
